8226 Germantown Ave. - Zoned RSA3. The proposal for 8226 Germantown avenue has undergone substantial revision since the initial variance refusal was issued. The current refusal states a variance is requested for proposed commercial use as allowed by CMX2 on first floor, and one dwelling on second for. And for the erection of detached structure - not to exceed 38' height - with 7 units, 8 parking spaces. The new plans submitted by the applicant at the Dec. 16, 2025 DRC meeting reduced and relocated the number of units and parking spaces, omitted commercial use of the existing house, and re-sited the new building, which will incur another refusal. An updated refusal will be required for this meeting to be held.
