CH Clean Up Day

CH Clean-Up Day Spring is nearly here and it's time to make Chestnut Hill once again Clean and Green!
Join us on Saturday, April 11 from 9 to noon for the second annual Chestnut Hill Litter Cleanup.

Advance registration is not required, but it will help us coordinate street assignments ahead of time and ensure you get your preferred location.
Volunteers will meet at Buckley Park on Germanton Ave. at E. Hartwell and spread out across Chestnut Hill to pick up the wind-blown paper and trash along Germantown Avenue and our residential sidewalks over the winter.
With enough volunteers we will be able to cover Chestnut Hill Avenue to Mermaid Lane from St. Martin’s/Seminole to Stenton Avenue.
This effort is part of Philly Spring Cleanup, and the city will be providing bags, rakes, brooms, shovels and some gloves (but if you want a good fit, bring your own!).
