Education
abounds for every age and every educational philosophy.
Playschools, preschools, public schools, private schools, parochial
schools all exist in walking distance of most of the Chestnut Hill's
3,000 residences. The larger northwest neighborhood and the near suburbs
offer even more diversity in primary and secondary education, both
public and private.
In addition, Chestnut Hill boasts its own co-educational college,
Chestnut Hill College, and offers specialized education through institutions
like the Woodmere Art Museum and the Morris Arboretum, a part of the
University of Pennsylvania.
